The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed with regards to the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] website is to reach-out to your high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at sassa Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The service place made for intervention activities a superior inflow of here possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to enable the servicing of all clients and increase access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
